“Love is the beauty of the soul.”
~St. Aurelius Augustine
You know I really believe that, I’m convinced that love brings such a beauty and whomever it engulfs becomes a beautiful light that shines ever so brightly.
I arrived back from LA yesterday, marking the first time I’ve ever missed a flight and yes it was traumatic! I shared with you about how LA’s beauty really ignited my heart on one of my videos’s (here’s my YouTube channel so you can be sure to watch it http://www.youtube.com/user/AricaAngelo?feature=mhee ). But while in LA I also received a special gift apart from LA’s scenery, yes LA has scenery!
More than once did I have a girlfriend say to me that it was the most beautiful they had ever seen me. It took me back to hear this as I took it as more than flattery. I knew my friends were being genuine and it touched me. My response to them was the same, “It’s because I’ve been loved well.”
No I wasn’t using a special new skin care line, while I remain on the hunt for those magic products. My make up hasn’t changed drastically and yes I have lost a couple of pounds, but I knew that wasn’t it either. I knew that it was love that had been deposited into me that caused me to look more beautiful than ever.
I believe that when a woman is loved very well, it reflects in her countenance. Look at newly wed woman. Look at an elderly woman that’s been married to a man who’s loved her oh so well over the years and you can witness it her face. Love has that affect on us.
I have a dear friend who has the most amazing husband. Each year that they’re married she becomes more and more beautiful! Her girlfriends, myself included say the same thing, we want a guy like “Joel”, not his name, but we’ll go with it. Joel loves strong, persistently and very well. As a result you can see it in her. She’s also no stranger to self-love, so with the two of them loving on her, needless to say she’s a knock out!
Men, do you want your woman continue to become more and more beautiful? Well before you run to the make up counter to buy her that gift certificate, why not hold on to your money and instead focus on loving her well? Ladies, lord knows we’re always looking for the next eye cream, the next new foundation that won’t rub off on our cell phones. But have you considered that love may be your remedy to beautifying yourself?
As much as I want to succeed in life, to me having someone who loves me exceptionally well carries far more value than any amount of success I could ever attain. Being loved well is the secret beauty product we’ve all been waiting for! Be on the look out, look at the friend who’s in a healthy, loving relationship. Her eyes will sparkle differently than others. Her face will look more fresh and her countenance will even bring you peace.
If you want to become more beautiful, then start with having a love fest. Love yourself like there’s no tomorrow. I’m convinced that The Beauty of a Woman can be found right in the depths of her, that place that holds love and lights up the world around her.
