If you really want to see your crazy pants side, just fall in love and/or get into a relationship. You’ll see the quirkiest, most passionate and emotions that may have been bottled up for years come pouring out. Several days ago I posted on my Facebook and Twitter a quote from yours truly, me, that said “I’m convinced that love can make the most sane person feel crazy.” I must admit that even my self, the person who daily writes about love and relationships, still finds herself wearing her crazy pants when it comes to matters of love.
I am even learning that there are times that I need to remove myself from my own equation and advise myself from a distance. But when I’m smack dab in the middle of it and my emotions are running around like crazy, you can forget me giving myself sound advice. However I can speak to another person about their relationship and then all of a sudden, my magical wisdom cap is placed back on my head and I’m able to offer rationale advice. Go figure!
Love really is that wild roller coaster that once you agree to get on the ride it’s highs and lows, along with many thrills will be guaranteed. I’ve witnessed the most sane of persons display irrational behavior, respond to situations quite contrary to their usual personality and surprise all of those around them, all in response to love and their relationship. We can all remember Tom Cruise and his Oprah couch jumping incident (if not click here to be reminded http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=znsXA2aTXCE). Grant it Tom is quite the passionate person as he is even known to do all of his stunts, but jumping on couches? Yes love will even make you jump on couches.
Face it, if you’re willing to fall in love, then you’re risking receiving a major case of the crazies. Cause quite frankly, Love Can Bring Out the Crazies!
